Colleague and friend, Charlene Smith, is now living in Boston, USA. She’s hard at work writing, studying at Harvard, producing a great travel app (more about this soon) and generally living the stimulating life that New England encourages. Her latest production, Mandela: in celebration of a great life, is out now and being sold in South African bookstores. Last time I was in Bloemfontein for shopping (Smithfield, my platteland dorp, doesn’t really ‘do’ fresh fruit and vegetables, and we all have to eat!) I spotted a large, colour billboard, advertising her book.
Now even in Bloemfontein in the Free State we’ve heard about Charlene and her latest book – fame at last!
